Some Grey Bloke has got it right with the swine ’flu: that it is the Susan Boyle of illnesses. It hasn’t done much, but everyone with an internet connection knows about it.
I have never heard of this show from Seth MacFarlane, but I thought this video on YouTube was very funny. (Note: adult themes and cussing.)
Good to know that the final season of Bro’ Town is getting a bit of an ad push with outdoor advertising:
I think there was still more promotion for US Life on Mars by TV3, however. Maybe they figured that Bro’ Town, being a local institution, wouldn’t need it—but I can’t remember when it’s on, so it’s probably not enough in my book!Found on another Voxer’s blog: Kiwi-speak! This pokes fun at the New Zealand vernacular, and while the accent is not 100 per cent perfect, a lot of the usage is: e.g. the use of as as a suffixed superlative. I was giggling throughout!
This was also funnier when I was under 10, but it is still clever.
Which cartoon character best represents you?
Probably Fred, because I have to drive everyone, like redheads, have to deal with the legal side, put the group’s findings into a summary, and have to be the leader. On the other hand, there’s no way I would have a van like his.

That was fast, right down to the speeches. Even Obama’s maternal grandmother’s passing was included in the latest South Park episode.
I don’t really know cartoon characters these days other than Family Guy, The Simpsons and Drawn Together, but I assume this is a parody of one, seen on graffiti near the Clifton Terrace car park in Wellington. No, I don’t get it, but it still made me smile just on how goofy the character looks. The wall there is quite good for the latest graffiti fads, though I certainly don’t condone defacing or destroying property. But while it is up I have to say a part of me treats it like an urban art gallery.
Another brilliant Eggtoon from Andy Wyatt: this time about Labour’s politics during the Blair era, in the style of South Park. I think it’s funnier than the Windsors one I posted earlier tonight, though the death of Robin Cook in the cartoon might be considered bad taste given that the man has passed away.
My colleague Jen Hamilton and I were browsing YouTube after working on a site for a client, and stumbled across a bit of royal humour. What if the Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Glücksburgs, I mean, the Mountbatten-Windsors, were a Simpsons-style cartoon (featuring Mohammed al-Fayed and the Rt Hon Tony Blair)?
Note to self: do not mention this blog post next time I see the Governor-General and his wife.
