When we can globalize

Comments

Ohhhh, outsourcing is a hot button for me. And don't get me started on companies here that expect their vendors to prove that they outsource a certain percentage of their work or materials. Grrrrrr...

It is ridiculous, isn’t it—especially when it’s done at the cost of your own nationals. Now, if we had a global economy—that is, one free of governmental interference, and where the taxes paid by the outsourced nations actually help the workers displaced in the first country—then I can accept it more. However, that situation does not exist. In the technocratic way it is practised, I can sure agree it is a hot-button issue and not what it is cracked up to be. And our liberal government, with its nice-nice trimmings and its ability to paint all conservatives as evil, is one of the greatest proponents of outsourcing to the Reds.
