What do butterflies mean as a sign?

[this is good]

Do you have "butterfly bush" or some other vegetation in your yard that they're especially attracted to? Or is it just due to your sweet demeanor & scintillating personality that they like to visit? ;-)

I don’t think I have anything special in my yard but I do have more flowers than I used to, Denise. If it is my sweet demeanour and scintillating personality, then I was a terrible person before this year!
They have really increased in number (which is a good thing—I really like the colour they bring). If I had to guess by how many, I would say I see three to four times more than last year. I even saw a pair flying together outside my office window two months ago!
Gorgeous, Jack. I know what butterfly's mean to me, and it has to do with being a widow and my late husband coming back to nag me about something. I doubt if that is your case however, but they do say that butterfly's are the bringers of spirits from our loved ones. Of course they could just be a bunch of flying bugs who decided your garden was a nice place to stop and rest for a while. either way - lovely.
Wyldreams, I do have some family members on the other side who come back and pay me visits, but the frequency of butterfly sightings here is way greater than anything I have experienced. Maybe they are coming more often, but there have not been any additional signs inside the house, which was why I kind of discounted the spiritual possibility.
The one in this photograph was just sitting there and didn’t fly off when I came near it. Even gave me a chance to get the cell and come back to photograph it.
