TV trivia—I thought these were the easy ones
I wrote some questions for TV Trivia on Facebook and was surprised to see folks get some wrong. Of course, I probably answered all the Coronation Street, Lost, and Grey’s Anatomy ones wrongly, and I really am sick of seeing any about Friends.
For any of you born before the 1980s, the results may seem puzzling. The bold one is the correct answer, the parenthesized numbers are the percentage of people choosing that particular one.
1. Fawlty Towers is set in which town?
- Swansea (3.4)
- Brighton (27.6)
- Torquay (65.5)
- Dover (3.4)
- skipped (0.0)
2. In Mission: Impossible, which stars were married off-screen?
- Martin Landau and Barbara Bain (25.0)
- Peter Graves and Barbara Bain (50.0)
- Peter Lupus and Lesley Ann Warren (0.0)
- Lynda Day George and Peter Lupus (0.0)
- skipped (25.0)
3. In Bewitched, what are the names of the children?
Stephen Stephens would be a dumb name, right?
I threw in some hard ones there, but also a bunch of easy ones. All a matter of perspective, I guess, but with the frequency of repeats of Fawlty and Bewitched, I expected more to get those right.
PS.: Among the shows the program insists does not exist: Mr & Mrs Smith and CI5: the New Professionals. Despite this, it does recognize Special Squad from Australia, The Paradise Club, Day Break, Pointman and A Man Called Sloane. What is nuts is that it also recognizes Supertrain! I mean, there are more Mr & Mrs Smith fans than Supertrain fans, surely?
