I would've thought ET would be really up there and One Hundred and One Dalmatians - really? I didn;t even think that would be on the list! tee hee
I guess the marketing at Disney must have been a lot bigger in terms of capturing consciousness in those days. Snow White, Bambi and The Jungle Book are bigger blockbusters compared with Shrek and co. Also, bums on seats would be a good measure of success—I might Google that next.

Also remember that "101" and "Jungle Book" have been re-released a couple of times, probably padding the totals for those movies. For that matter, so was "Star Wars".

The other ones were really truly phenomenons, and I can see why they're on that list -- though "Star Wars" was a phenomenon too.

The only one I haven't seen was The Exorcist. I really liked Linda Blair and an surprised that her career didn't climb to superstar status. Star Wars is by far my favorite.
