A big thank-you to those early members who have joined the new New Zealand group on Vox: I really appreciate it. Now I am off to a very Kiwi thing: a barbecue. May post photographs later …

On reflection, I think it was an extreme action to take considering I probably posted the most, that the good outweighed the bad and kept things current; now that group is looking rather empty because over a year’s worth of messages have been deleted. I threw a few recent posts back on, but I doubt I will be as accommodating or generous in future to repair what was not my fault.
So it was a disagreement, but over what posts I do not know (I have asked). I have always been careful to send relevant posts there, but obviously she did not agree—but effectively I believe that means the old group’s description is deceptive and needs to be changed to something narrower.
The good news is that the new group now has over a quarter of the members of the old in quantity, which meant it has grown more quickly, and I like to think that the topics are broader and more realistic.
