Sorry for you.
Thanks, Timothy. Still 33,526 to download as I write. I think I can only clear 1,000 an hour so basically my email account is useless for two days unless our hosting company can find a way to delete the messages. I sent them a support ticket 45 minutes ago.
That would drive me nuts, I hope that you can find a solution.
Wow! That's impressive!!
I did reply to this about five hours ago; odd it never made it. The folks at Rackspace eventually got in and using filters deleted 30,000 of the messages; then a further few thousand, so I only had to download 500 (after downloading the first 2,300 or so). I have 365 this morning in total after five hours’ sleep so the rate of these messages has, thankfully, dropped.
I burn out on 300 messages much less thousands. You can get rid of a 1000 per hour. now I'm more impressed with you. 8-@ wow
I'm surprised that you find the emails I send you!

Judge Bob, it was downloading 1,000 per hour—certainly not answering. But since they all were spam they just go into the trash.
Zak: yours make a nice interlude to the work ones!
Jack did most of those spam-mails come from my country?
This time, with so many, I never checked their source, but a lot did go via US servers from big ISPs that should know better than to leave open relays to be exploited like that.
