The United States’ most corrupt politicians: Clinton, Giuliani, Huckabee, Obama in top 10

Giuliani didn't make the list?

They missed Sen. Ted Stevens of Alaska who is under investigation for getting work done on his home. But I think that Randy Cunningham, former Congressman from San Diego, CA gets the award for largest "bribe".

I read this a few days ago. Interesting how the corrupt always desires power to help in furthering their corruption.
Hey, Aput: Rudy’s there all right. Zak: I remember reading something about Sen. Stevens—I’d say he qualifies. Humbled Infidel: it’s that old adage about absolute power corrupting absolutely, I guess. Very sad to see, but in the case of some of these top 10, hardly surprising.
Do you think Rudy's "corruption" with this budget thing a true cover up? I just don't see it.

And as far as the Kurik thing -- it is mere speculation if Rudy knew about his side dealings. I mean is it truly guilt by association?

For a guy (Rudy) that lived to bring down the mob as an attorney, I just don't see him truly knowing...
Dox², the Kurik matter is guilt by association in my view. However, I am not a fan—not because of alleged corruption, but I remember the mood of New York when I was there prior to 9-11. Rudy was seen as a lame-duck mayor then, and I think that legacy hurts him.
You’ll notice I made no comments about the cited report (just as I made no comments beyond what I knew regarding climate change).
I am just commenting on the report and looking for your opinion of my comment. No worries... :)
Oh, sorry! One of those internet things. I thought you had read in a comment which I didn’t make. Anyway, my comment is that I agree that the Bernie Kurik matter is guilt by association.
