The status quo

We went to the beach this afternoon and as far as the eye could see were people, just enjoying time with their families. I think it's really important that we keep these days, we should be able to survive without consumerism for 3.5 days a year. I'd love to see a shop-free day once a month, to be honest.
How I agree! Twelve days a year won’t kill us, and it will probably be paid leave. Why not?
