There’s precious little footage of the continuation of US Life on Mars in this promotion for the ABC network’s 2009 offerings:

The sound quality is not great and you have to forward to 2'09" (out of a total 2'31") to see anything from Mars.

I didn't know half of these shows were still going - what a revelation....the US series of Life On Mars will be showing here in Australia on Channel 10 in Feb - looking forward to it.

There are similarities, especially the first episode, and the majority of the stories, but I think things begin departing on their own path on the eighth episode. It’s not as good as the original, but it’s actually not a bad show.
