Spoons!

Love the pictures - very colourful!

She’s very talented, as is her whole family. I just kept looking and smiling: not much art can do that to me.
Like it Jack. Vibrant stuff.
They are really powerful! but i can't figure out what they are in the pictures.
Or am I not supposed to think what they are?
Thanks, Karlos and Jessica! Jessica, they are slightly abstract. If I published the name of the pieces you’d know instantly so I think the idea is that we don’t know when we first see it. I also put the more complicated ones here on purpose—I liked these more!
The top one is actually balloons rather than spoons, called Celebration, I believe. The lower left one has something to do with animals and zen, from memory, and the lower right one is a scene from one of the Lord of the Rings movies (reinterpreted). I forgot what the central one is, sorry!
Oh I thought the top one was people!
That’s the cool thing with Stella’s work. I don’t think there’s a 100 per cent “right” interpretation. You’re allowed to read in what you want, provided it makes you happy!
[this is good]
Thanks, Sue. She’s incredibly talented.
Hutt Valley Community Arts and Farsite Gallery do have a website (I'm currently working on revamping it) Here is the exhibition page for Stella's exhibition.
