World traveler indeed.
I think you’ll find a lot of New Zealanders of my age will have been to quite a lot of places, and I don’t know anyone here (other than small children) who does not have a passport.
Americans are not [yet] required to have an identity card. But the 'crats are closing in- not good. I have never had a passport as I have never needed one but am planning on getting one soon. I have only been to Jamacia and Mexico and there was no need at that time to have a passport.
You should get a passport, Zak, and they are valid for 10 years, so quite worth it.
