Who has the most dangerous job?
If we excluded front-line troops on active duty—there are so many it would be unfair to single out one—and look at people I know personally, my old high school friend Gavin Blair probably has the most dangerous job. He dives professionally—and I mean that deep-sea contract stuff that comes with a huge load of danger pay. In that context, maybe I shouldn’t publicly mention that his nickname was ‘Spaz’ at school. (I do not know how he earned it.)
