If you were forced to buy a new car today, what kind of car would you get?

Gosh, I would like to hang on to my little Renault, and getting something to replace it will be tough since there were very few imported in to New Zealand. I can tell you it will be made by our allies in World War II or by the Germans. I tend to find Asian cars dull, with poor taste in interior design.
Really, I’d prefer the same car but the latest model—I am very happy with Renaults apart from the cost of the keys. Otherwise, the new Volkswagen Scirocco III (left) or the Opel Astra GTC would be nice, but they plainly don’t seem as special.

This next car would be on my shortlist. Of all the cars I have been lent by their companies, this was the one I did not want to give back. The Audi S3 is pricier and does not look as nice as the Renault, in my view. But was it great to drive, and practical, too.

I see that you are a fan of european cars. I think that there is still great designers in Europa. The other reason why they take so much care of design is due to the asian competitors who produce at lower costs. So they have to do the difference for encouraging the purchase act in their favour.

Excellent point, Sergio. Mais aussi, je suis chinois, et je n’achète jamais les voitures japonaises parce que la deuxième guerre mondiale. J’aime les personnes japonais, les repas japonais, leur culture, mais je dois protester les actions de leur gouvernement avec mon boycottage.

Uhhh I saw today the latest C5 from Citroen (cuire noire etc)....30.000 euros...:-(

They are expensive, plus I don’t really like the C5s. The new model also looks too German—in which case I would rather get a German car.
