QotD: never seen it

Comments

I've never seen Citizen Kane or Titanic either. Both for the same reason as you!

Must admit I do have weird taste in movies and choose to avoid most "blockbusters".

Robin, do you reckon it is a sin in New Zealand to admit to not having seen The Lord of the Rings? I’m guilty of that, too, though I did see King Kong.
Jack, for real??

Lol...would you like to see it?

I am not kidding. Saying you have not seen TLOTR in New Zealand is like saying that you think Osama bin Laden is a sex symbol as you go through the security check at LAX. Or driving a Japanese car in a state where Dan Quayle’s family owns all the newspapers. But I have never liked the fantasy genre and all that Dungeons & Dragons stuff.
I saw 10 minutes of the first one on pay TV and thought, ‘This is horrible.’ I saw 10 seconds of the second one at a friend’s place and said, ‘So, what other DVDs do you have?’ So I have watched about four minutes and fifty seconds more of Shortland Street than TLOTR. No real desire to see either.
