Prop department reveals Sam Tyler’s car

ABC has a new video up about US Life on Mars, and we find out that Sam Tyler will drive a 1971 Chevrolet Chevelle:

   There’s also a good explanation on how they managed to make the room fill with smoke from ashtrays—apparently special effects are involved so actors don’t need to breathe in nicotine.
