If pig years are so bad, then we need to look at 1947, 1959, 1971, 1983 and 1995, too. We can pick out disasters and wars in all of them, but I don’t think they could be said to be any better or worse than other years we can choose at random.
Oh, I love dumplings. I read a story in our paper about a man who went to China for a "dumpling festival", and for days he just walked around and sampled dumplings! That sounded wonderful to me.
