Obama expands lead over McCain—Gallup
The [Gallup] poll, taken from Wednesday to Friday, showed Obama leading McCain by 49 percent to 41 percent for the second day in a row — a campaign high for him.
Before the convention, the two presidential candidates were tied at 45 percent.
I am not surprised—conventions have a way of propelling the party into the lead, exactly as I said a while back. The trick will be to see if Sen. John McCain can make any political gain in St Paul with Gov. Palin now announced as his running-mate.

The election is the only poll that matters. With the "chosen one" image that the media has promoted Obama I am surprised that the polls have shown that McCain has been so close to Obama.
It's gonna be neck & neck.
