New Clothes for the New Year, Wellington
Did the rehearsal for New Clothes for the New Year last night and very glad I did. So, remember: New Clothes for the New Year, free entry, at Queen’s Wharf, Sunday 2 to 4 p.m. Some good hip-hop acts, plus lots of fashion. Don’t expect a swish Paris-style fashion show, as the girls are a mix of agency and community volunteers, but from what I saw, they are pretty professional with their walks and timing.
Quite fun, and if the weather is good, then make a day of it along the Wellington waterfront. I will be wearing local designers’ stuff: sweatshirt by Mr Smith (it does not make me Brad Pitt) and the rest, probably by Mandatory.
