Before Steve Martin, Roger Moore, not Peter Sellers, was the last person to play Chief Insp Jacques Clouseau.

- From October 28, 2009, I can no longer get a compose screen on Vox without waiting between 15 minutes and two days of loading and refreshing. Consequently, from December 2009, this blog will no longer be (and can no longer be) regularly updated. I’m a patient man, but having regular six-hour load times for a single web page is a bit too much. Please contact me at the links below.

The movie above was about Wass in search of Jacques Clouseau. Unbeknownst to him, Clouseau has had plastic surgery to make himself resemble Roger Moore. (How he grew six inches in height during this is not explained.)
After having paid to see Trail of the Pink Panther, made with out-takes featuring Sellers (and then only for the first half-hour), I was not going to let Mr Edwards con me a second time, and I only ever saw the above on television.
