Michael dominates the front page; Farrah is in a box

[das ist gut]
This might sound strange, but this weekend, I sometimes had the feeling that, now when he is dead, Michael is more alive than he was during the last few years. He had more and more become a phantom, a shadow of his former self. Nobody really knew the person behind the mask (lat. "persona"), who had hidden himself behind the gates of Neverland. I hope that he is happier, where he is now!
Michael always wanted to be extraordinary, and he was extraordinary. He searched for love, and what he got was admiration. Our picture of him will always have oversize. Perhaps he wanted nothing more than being human, nothing more than normality, but the vicious circle of fame didn´t let him out any more.
Farrah Fawcett has silently lost her battle against cancer. May she come to rest where all the other angels are!
That is not o.k. and very sad, that Michael donimantes the front page. All the time, the last 4 days in radio in germany play the radio all the songs from Michael. I dont´ understand it.Farrah was fantastic and I missing this angel and there is no series from the Angel in TV-I dont´understand this.
I believe I have an answer for you. Yes, I also have heard much about Michael on the German radio/TV waves also but since he was "truly" one of the very few international entertainment stars we should not be surprised by such a following.
[this is good]
Rainbird: well said on all your points. KS: strangely, we have heard few songs on the radio from Michael here, though he dominates headlines as you saw. X: what you say is spot-on; plus Germany itself, based on my travels there, has been very open to US music, and it has a thriving pop scene of its own, where there is a clearer connection to the style of Michael Jackson.
I do find it a little odd that there have not been many Charlie’s Angels repeats or something along those lines. Maybe the rights for the show are more tied up. But there is also a clear connection in German culture between the UK and US actioners of the 1970s and some of the episodic series shown there today.
