Main gripe about the new design on Vox

So, when Vox previewed its redesign at the end of 2007, a few of us asked, ‘Please retain the little down arrows so we can access the video, audio and book editing pages.’ Sure the new design is cleaner. But where are our little arrows? How can we readily edit the video page—without scrolling down to get to the videos’ ‘Edit’ link?
Come on, Vox, the little arrows won’t ruin the æsthetic.

My Main gripe: Everything is gone. The home page used to show quite a few recent posts from your neighbourhood with big user pics so you could see who was saying what, you could see recent comments too which was nice. And "This is Good" made it feel very personal, especially when you saw neighbours and friends in the This is Good box. Now everything is hidden - have to click to see comments, media, etc. They only show three recent posts without also further clicking. I can't understand why they'd do this...

True, heaps of stuff have gone and I do not like the home page at all, either. There was feedback (I think) when Vox previewed these changes, along the same lines as what you’ve said, but they seem to have ignored us all.
