‘KITT happens’

Comments

[this is good]
Sometimes I wonder if us Gen X'ers are responsible for suppressing new entertainment franchises, or whether the Long Tail effect means there will never be new big hits like those of the 80s ... or,

whether 80s programmes were actually that GREAT that they deserve all the remakes! :)

Case in point:

Hitch Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy - great movie in 2005
Doctor Who's rebirth and massive popularity
Apparently they're making a Smurfs movie

Is there a McGyver remake in the works?
Hey, Sy: I’ve been meaning to ask you about next week. Can anyone attend your talk? Apologies for being offline—been finishing Lucire no. 26 here.
No MacGyver remake but there was that Visa ad where R. D. Anderson reprised his role a few years ago. And he finally met Aunt Patty and Aunt Selma.
Yep, anyone can come to the roundtable on Monday, but not sure if you have to sign up for the whole conference to do so...

MacGyver meets Aunt Patty and Aunt Selma? Hmmm ...
