Iraqi fans speak out

Comments

Seems as though the captain has his own thoughts as to what needs to be done to achieve unity in Iraq..
I saw the interview: whatever the case, Iraq will certainly be a different place left in the hands of its own people, and not politicians (American, Iraqi or otherwise).
I am very happy for Iraq and its people. They have had little to celebrate and now they are champions. How wonderful this must feel. I hope the power of the team unity carries over throughout all its people.
I hope so, too, M. I really wanted to see the celebrations on TV so I could “live it” through the tube with them. Let’s hope their media have done a better job of highlighting this positive news than our ones here.
