The Indians certainly got into the Christmas spirit, from a Christmas tree and Santa decorations at Central Cottage Industries in New Delhi to a storeys-high tree at Treasure Island Mall in Indore (the second photograph was taken Christmas night; the third in a near-empty mall on Boxing Day). Beats the heck out of any piddly tree in New Zealand, supposedly with more Christians per capita.

I didn't go near them but, if you believe the news reports, there were no near-empty shopping malls in New Zealand on Boxing Day.
