I am back
I have returned from Taiwan and Australia—more later. Let’s just say that it was an awesome trip and I’d happily return to the island, the only free part of China and, in my pre-1971 world view, the location of the Chinese republican government in exile, despite not speaking the language. The Taiwanese people were incredibly friendly and even tolerated overseas Chinese like me looking dumb. Photos to come.
