Hillary Rodham lied—in 1974

This is interesting.

Hillary got a job working on the investigation at the behest of her former law professor, Burke Marshall, who was also Sen. Ted Kennedy’s chief counsel in the Chappaquiddick affair.

I cannot imagine that Ted Kennedy's attorney in the Cappaquiddick case would dare criticize anyone for lying.
A follow up view. After reading the article, it is hard to say who was lying to who. In fact, the entire Watergate affair and Kennedy misdeeds is mind boggling. It seems that the entire political structure is full of cronies, ambitions, and greed.

I am old enough to remember this time and the Nixon affair. Even though Nixon made some poor decisions during his time in the White House, Bill Clinton's use of the FBI and CIA to go after Clinton enemies has still not been vented. Also, Bill Clinton took money from the Communist Chinese to run his 1996 Presidential campaign in trade for selling military technology to the Commies.

Gosh, Washington politics is a never ending story.

Jenn: thank you for visiting. Timothy: I love your first quotation. I have to admit I found the players difficult to follow. I was pretty young when Watergate happened but I read up on it during my teens. I totally agree that President Clinton abused his power, something that is bound to continue under his wife if she were to become the 44th president. This is why they are both being so energetic with the campaign: a loss would expose far too much.
