[Cross-posted] Would you go short? The bob is the “it” hairstyle for 2007 and probably the beginning of 2008, and Ultimate Style convinces one woman to try it out at the Ken Paves salon. The video airs today on the Lucire home page.

apparently the pixieish bob was a big thing in Melbourne last year?

I am having the stereotypical post-baby urge to lop off all my hair, fortunately (or unfortunately depending on how you look at it) my hairdresser is a close friend and she says if I do I will spend the whole summer trying to tame the frizz!

My rule is always: forget the trends, do what you feel is right! (I should not say that given I publish women’s magazines!)

i'm so glad i chopped off all my hair. it used to be just a few inches above my belly button - now it doesn't touch my shoulders. i can't believe i ever let my hair get as long as it was before. the key is a lot of thinning out and shaping AFTER the hair has been dried [if you have thick, wavy hair like me]

Sounds lovely, and in my opinion the shaping is very important!
