What do you do when you see a sign like this? Do you obey and wet the floor? I wouldn’t really want to expose myself on the stairwell at Wellington Women’s Hospital but they really do want us to pee there, then they could lock the toilets.
When I was teaching many years ago, a paper sign with ‘Wet Floor’ was taped to one bathroom door. I put in small letters underneath, ‘This is not an instruction.’
That reminds me of the Seinfeld episode where Kramer convinces Jerry and George that it's unhealthy to hold it in and that they should relieve themselves in the parking garage and they are arrested for exposing themselves. LOL
‘I think they’re wonderful. They have so much courage! Here they are, hurling through space on a molten rock at 67,000 miles an hour, and the only thing that keeps them in their shoes is their misplaced faith in gravity.’—John Lithgow as Prof Dick Solomon, in Third Rock from the Sun
