Bush 41 and other Clinton targets

Comments

That was two years ago and I have never heard of it before. By the way, I was at that election rally :) and I am two degrees away from him (through friends.) He's known to be a bit of a ham.
He did pretty well (not nervous at all) on Letterman, and the letter from the President was brilliant. If the President didn’t write it himself, then whomever did had a good grasp of the Texan idiom.

So no one has ever surfaced the video of it? Anymore, it's hard for me to believe that anything can be hidden or slide into oblivion with all the bloggers who love that kind of stuff.

Missed the kid on Letterman. I'm sure he was a straight man for Dave to poke general, uninformed fun at Bush.

Does anyone have a link to the letter?

Hi Maureen: I can’t find the video, and at the time I tried Googling it and never found it. But it was hilarious. The three presidents were joking around, then Bush pushed Clinton, in jest, but he was knocked back and had to take a step back to balance himself. Dubya stood between them, at a right angle.
It doesn’t appear to be on YouTube, and Tyler Crotty yawning is not there, either.
Apparently, the letter to Master Crotty was hand-written by the President. The only quote I could find from it was, ‘The hall was hot and my speech was long, so I understand why a fellow your age might nod off.’

Found in the Google cache:

What I saw: Clinton, Daddy Bush, and son Bush were all talking and the next thing, Daddy Bush pushes Clinton in the chest with his two hands. (like Elaine used to do on Seinfeld) The camera quickly moved away from them.
