Britannia, rule the airwaves
Life on Mars has picked up its second International Emmy for best drama series. David Suchet, one of Britain’s finest actors, won Best Actor for Maxwell. British television won seven of the ten awards handed out, which illustrates that while Britannia does not rule the waves, she certainly rules the airwaves. I am not sure why the International Emmys are so behind (Life on Mars ended in 2007 and Maxwell was in 2006) but these are very deserving winners. It was also pleasing to note that Shaun the Sheep picked up an award, too.
