Back from France

Brigid and I had a lovely time in France and I returned yesterday, severely jet-lagged and slept the whole day. French countryside: good. Smog around LAX: bad. It is hard to start blogging again, especially when I want to be in the zone of the lovely time we had. I guess the best message to send is: more later.

Thanks, Maureen. Is it hard to get back into blogging! At least it’s a sunny day here so I am going to get some films developed. None of that digital nonsense for me.

Hi Jack, Sounds like a wonderful, if tiring, trip. I'm off to Las Vegas on Saturday with a few hours of L.A. smog on the way....

Pay the US$55 to stay inside the Air New Zealand lounge! Makes the world of difference. I am not sure if the Californians know just how bad it is compared with, say, here or France.
