2007: a year of blogging less

By not blogging for a month (some more reasons at my main blog), my inbox has gone from 350 to 160, I am making headway on my businesses, taken JY&A Media into an M&A mode, and even renewed many acquaintances. So, after a banner year with 500 posts and holding the record for coCommenting for some time, I may lower my blogging frequency in 2007. By blogging yesterday, after a long silence, I found I have used up around 12 hours on typing, Del.icio.using, and generally getting caught up in blog-related activity.
I won’t stop—I have met too many great people now to want to be outside the ’sphere—but I need to balance my life far better than I have done in the last two years.

You're an exemplary blogger, Jack, and that speaks to who you are as a person. You make a great point that publishing frequency plays a permanent second fiddle to a lot of other things, including your personal sense of getting important things done. I wish you the best of success this new year!
